Wait, this Austin thing

Hold up, hold up. How can Cena's stunner be a slight on Austin if the problems started the day of mania or whatever? I can't see that being enough time for Cena to break out the move.

Oh, and Roman Reigns has nice hair.

Nice addition.
I think there was other stuff going on with Austin before the Mania deal, actually.  The podcast with HHH seems have been a point of contention as well, with Vince wanting more softball stuff like the Cena interview instead of actual followup questions like Austin was asking.

For the Blooooog – TNA Lockdown looks….pretty good. Wait. What?!

Hey Scott,

Big fan of the blog, blahtyblahblah.

I've only seen a handful of Impacts of the past couple of months and read the results here and there but taking a gander at the card for Lockdown and it actually looks really good:

Team Dixie vs Team MVP for control of TNA
Magnus vs Samoa Joe for the World Title
Kurt Angle vs EC3
James Storm vs Gunner
Madison Rayne vs Gail Kim for the Knockouts title
Mr Anderson vs Samuel Shaw
Bad Influence and Chris Sabin vs Great Muta, Sanada and Tigre Uno.

With the exception of the 6 man (which doesn't need a story just turn those guys loose), everything is the payoff to a storyline,  part of a character's development or plays into a story that will continue.

TNA always gets knocked for throwing stuff together haphazardly but all of this makes perfect sense.  It actually looks like something worth watching.

Thoughts?

I have literally not given a second of thought to TNA since I stopped watching it last year.

Wait, WHAT?!?

Never mind the bullshit that was Survivor Series, apparently Family Guy has become so desperate for plots that they killed off Brian tonight?!  There's no way this is gonna stick, but still, is this really how low the show has sunk?  I'm pretty glad I jumped off after the HD changeover, actually.
In other non-WWE news tonight, Thor was pretty good.  Liked it better than the somewhat pondersome first movie, not as much as either Captain America or Avengers, and I wish they'd give Loki his own movie.   It did lead me to think about how perfect Marvel has been with their casting, though — like really, could you even picture anyone other than Hemsworth as Thor at this point?  Or a better Cap than Chris Evans?  But regardless, it was fun, I ate popcorn and enjoyed myself.
Also, football fans are going crazy here tonight because the Roughriders won the Grey Cup on home field.  If you're Canadian and enjoy football you were probably already aware of this.

Steve Blackman, MMA trainer…wait, what?

I mean, I know he seemed like a legit badass, but I'm surprised I didn't know about this until it was linked on Cage Potato…what about you?

I had heard it mentioned a few times, yeah.  And everyone who worked with him swears by him as one of the toughest guys alive, so there's probably something there.  I can only hope his guys have to fight in that wacky round cage from 1998 or maybe the IRON CIRCLE like he had against Ken Shamrock.

Wait, this warrants a YouTubing:
Yes, that happened.

Don’t wait up…

Working late tonight, plus some extracurricular wackiness in the neighborhood means I'm not going to get a chance to review the HISTORIC RAW 1000 until tomorrow night sometime, so don't wait up constantly refreshing the website.  Unless, you know, that's the kind of thing you want to do.  Although I've had a bunch of e-mails already giving me a rough idea of what I'm in for.
