You know guys, I have a day job and stuff…
I felt like the "Wrestlemania location announced" post last week was so lame that I owed people a mailbag to make up for it.
Also, because angry nerds = PAGEVIEWS. Apparently this thing is hitting a nerve with people. Who could have foreseen THAT?
Obviously they're just setting up Daniel Bryan for a second miracle comeback win at Wrestlemania, right?
Nothing much to this one, but I figured that they took the time to send me the heavily trademarked press release so I could least pass it on.
Yes, there are still some things that make me very happy to be a wrestling fan.
Just a quickie rant inspired by a reader e-mail. It's hard to even get angry about the shows these days.
Sting is apparently such a draw that people would rather fork over $55 than get a free month of the Network. That's impressive, actually.
Man, I sure hope that Cena can pull this one out.
I'm gonna level with ya here, this may be the stupidest press release I've ever received in my inbox. Although Macho Man's "Be A Man, Hulk" from 12 years ago still holds the honor, I think. Hopefully Randy Orton gives the cat an RKO.
Admittedly I don't have much to add here, but WWE sent me a press release so they're apparently quite excited about it.
I feel like they need to push John Cena even harder, and perhaps have the announcers wear "$9.99" t-shirts all the time to really emphasize the price point. If people only knew what a great value the Network was and how much John Cena they could get on the Network, they'd hit their million subs in no time!
Hopefully you can read between the lines and figure out how excited I am for this monthly special event on WWE Network, which is only $9.99 in case you didn't know.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting worried that we're gonna see 16 time World champion John Cena this Sunday.
