Why yes, there IS a PPV this Sunday.
I feel like the blog is a little thin on Wednesday Night Wars coverage. Tommy and I both do NXT, of course, and Tommy also does Impact because he's a sadist or whatever, but ROH and especially Lucha Underground aren't getting any love. Anyone want to take a crack at Lucha? I don't have access to the show so I'm out.
I kind of feel bad because I felt like I had more to say and a longer piece to cover his career and such, but I really wanted to get something done today while it was fresh in my mind.
Well we now know when and how they're getting that NXT belt off Owens, at least. Not much else going on here aside from Bliss and Carmella bringing the hotness. I JUST CAN'T DECIDE!
I was beginning to get worried that we hadn't discussed Roman Reigns in over 24 hours.
Apparently the Sporting News people really love the mailbags, so let's hit it again!
I'm trying the new-fangled slide list format on the Sporting News for fun. Probably screwed it up, we'll see.
As usual, everything happens while I'm at work. Probably the only one truly disappointed by this news is Frank Mir.
The excitement is building! Can this show bottom out below TLC's 39,000 buys? TUNE IN THIS SUNDAY TO FIND OUT!
I love how they're like "See, we're at 75% of what we promised months ago and we've cut 20% of our workforce so now everything's fine!"
You know guys, I have a day job and stuff…
I felt like the "Wrestlemania location announced" post last week was so lame that I owed people a mailbag to make up for it.
Also, because angry nerds = PAGEVIEWS. Apparently this thing is hitting a nerve with people. Who could have foreseen THAT?
Obviously they're just setting up Daniel Bryan for a second miracle comeback win at Wrestlemania, right?
Nothing much to this one, but I figured that they took the time to send me the heavily trademarked press release so I could least pass it on.
Yes, there are still some things that make me very happy to be a wrestling fan.
