–Jim Ross recaps how Shawn Michaels defeated Jeff Jarrett at In Your House 2 to win the Intercontinental title for the third time.
–Ross and Todd Pettengill are in the booth and they are taped from St. Louis, Missouri. According to the historyofwwe.com, the taping drew 10,500 fans.
–Jim Ross and Todd Pettengill narrate a video package for why Bret Hart and Henry Godwinn are facing each other in a rematch of their Superstars encounter, which occurred two weeks ago, on today’s show. Godwinn says that he will give Bret the beating of his life.
–Ross and Pettengill are in charge of commentary and they are taped from Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
–Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are on commentary and are broadcasting from Struthers, Ohio as we conclude the tapings and prepare for this weekend’s King of the Ring pay-per-view. McMahon says that the stench coming from our television set is due to Lawler’s feet.

–We get more developments in the Bam Bam Bigelow-Lawrence Taylor feud as Taylor’s attorney, Anthony J. Giampapa, announces that he is advising his client to take legal action against Bigelow and the World Wrestling Federation because he believes they are trying to goad Taylor into a match. He demands that both Bigelow and the WWF “cease and desist” from further activities concerning Taylor.
–Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler are doing commentary and the site of our tapings has changed to West Palm Beach, Florida. The tapings were done on January 24. McMahon says that in response to Mr. Giampapa, the WWF will cease promoting the idea of a future Bigelow-Taylor match.
–Vince McMahon recaps Shawn Michaels victory in the Royal Rumble and hypes today’s match between Michaels and Adam Bomb.

Vince puts over how Michaels won from the #1 position and Michaels says he is going to put some moves on Pamela Anderson. It is so weird to see the winner of the Rumble not getting a twenty minute promo to start the show.
