Tuesday Night Thread

Here we are again. It’s the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and the slow train to the holidays is about to make its first stop. We’ve got basketball – both pro and college – on tonight. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is on ABC at 8 pm, too, which is one of the lesser Peanuts holiday specials.

Of course the main event is Backlash 2004 live watch, also at 8 p.m. While we want you here to converse, make sure to check out Scott’s rant on the show, which you can access by CLICKING HERE.

Discuss anything and everything here tonight on TNT. Have at it!

Survivor Series LIVE Thread

We’ve got a World Title Tournament, the Brothers of Destruction a mystery 5-on-5 elimination match, Divas dissing dead sibs and more tonight at the Survivor Series, brought to us by Big Show’s indigestion!

(As a side note, some big shit goes down on TWD tonight. DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR PEOPLE the way my work has spoiled it for me.)

Alright peeps, have at it!

Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event Thread

Welcome everyone to the Saturday before the Survivor Series. Will the evil terrorist group ruin our live watch tomorrow night? Or will the heroic Vincent Kennedy McMahon overcome yet another tragedy to bring this nation back from the brink?

Of course, in our main event, PART II of November’s best matches, put together by the inimitable Bobby! The live watch starts at 8 p.m. and can be accessed by CLICKING HERE!

All that and more in the Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event thread, brought to you by Scott Keith’s Blog of Doom! Have at it!

Saturday Open Thread

I think we all like having a place to talk about random crap here on Saturday afternoons, stuff like college football. So, here’s where you can do that.

Remember, the Saturday Night’s Main Event thread will come to you LIVE on the Superstation at 6:05 Eastern!

The Streets Ahead Friday Night Thread

NEW BANNER! I feel like the Ask 411 Wrestling guy! I always loved Sforcina!

Here we are on another Friday night here at the BoD and tonight, I have a special assignment for everyone. I am going to try and do a weekly column in the vein of “Off the Top Rope,” Eddie Ellner’s old reader Q&A column in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. So send your BoD-related questions to me and hopefully the new column will debut next week!

Otherwise, enjoy the banner, talk about whatever and remember, if you don’t know what it means to be Streets Ahead, you’re Streets Behind.

TNT II – Thursday Night Thread

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of the Thursday Night Thread, right here on the Blog of Doom. I’m your host, the Streets Ahead level 6 Laser Lotus, Extant 1979. We’ve got a night chock full of action.

Over in the NFL, Thursday Night Football features… Jacksonville and Tennessee? That’s… something, I guess. Smackdown is the go-home show for Sunday’s Survivor Series, where we will all have to get on the Reigns Train.

And in the Main Event, my good, personal friend Bobby has put together a November playlist to remember. We’ll start watching part 1 at 8 p.m. and you can see all of that by clicking RIGHT HERE!

Part II will be featured as part of the Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event! Stay tuned and have at it.

And one more thing, please DO NOT spoil any results from the NXT tapings tonight in this thread. All spoilers will be deleted. Thank you (Bayless).

Prime Time Wednesdays Thread

It’s the middle of the week, which means NXT is on. TNA and ROH are on? I stopped caring a while ago. I’ll be watching last night’s Flash and tonight’s Arrow, while also making dinner and maybe putting up some shelving in the bathroom. We’ll see.

It’s been a busy day for me. I may pass out. Have at it DoomBots.

TNT – Tuesday Night Thread!

Welcome everyone to the Tuesday Night Thread. I’m your host, Extant1979 and we are here to bring you the best action, adventure and amazement!

Tonight on the live watch, we have WrestleMania XX – Where It All Begins… AGAIN – emanating from the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. That will begin at 8 p.m.

Until then, have at it.

The Streets Ahead Friday Night Thread!

By the time you all read this, I’ll be up in Central New York, hanging out for a weekend to see my wife’s cousin get married. Hopefully that works better than that time Jeff and Britta recited vows…

Best vows ever!

Just a programming note, I will be unable to post any Saturday threads tomorrow, due to my being far removed from my computer, so that’s going to have to be up to somebody else. You guys are lucky to have this!

Do the thing and talk about the stuff. Have at it! I’ve got a bus, a train and a bus to catch before I rent a car…

TNT II – Thursday Night Thread!

Here we are again on a Thursday night. We’ve got Smackdown, as the first round of the WWE Title Tournament continues. We’ve got Thursday Night Football – the Jets take on the Bills, as New York’s only legitimate team takes on one of the Jersey boys. And there’s basketball and hockey and all that other stuff.

On the live watch, as tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of the death of Eddie Guerrero, tonight’s serendipitous showing is No Way Out 2004, the show where Eddie won his first and only WWE Championship. That starts at 8 p.m. eastern.

Man, this thread either needs a banner or a gimmick. Until that happens, have at it.

The Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event Thread

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event Thread, brought to you by Scott Keith’s Blog of Doom!

We have a whole night full of great action here tonight, so let’s kick things off by going to the back where Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by.

What’s that? We don’t have Okerlund? Well then, this is your open thread for the evening, so have at it!

The Streets Ahead Friday Night Thread

I’m a little pressed for time, so just imagine the Dean coming in with a weird outfit and talking about a dance or something.

Tonight! Sports teams will sport! TV programs will program, and maybe movies will be seen. James Bond vs. Charlie Brown? Good grief! Hopefully the WWI flying ace can beat out the British spy.

We are Streets Ahead all night long!

TNT II – Electric Boogaloo! Thursday Night Thread!

I’ll be out on the town stylin’ and profilin’ a bit tonight, celebrating a Streets Ahead birthday, but you kids should feel free to continue talking about stuff here. John Cena is a Hall of Famer! Wow! Who woulda thunk it?

Smackdown continues the build to Survivor Series, although anything taped on Tuesday is probably a moo point today (it’s like a cow’s opinion. It doesn’t matter). Thursday Night Football has Cleveland visiting Cincinatti. And of course there’s basketball and hockey and other stuff on TV, too.

Prime Time Wednesdays

Hello everyone, welcome to Prime Time Wednesdays here on the Blog of Doom, I’m your host, Extant Monsoon, and we’ve got a lot of great action tonight, with NXT, TNA, ROH and more all coming at you right in your computer or smart phone.

Have at it.

TNT – Tuesday Night Thread

Had a day away from the BoD, but I wouldn’t forget about TNT. It’s Election Day in the U.S. of A., so I hope the Blog’s Cleveland contingent went out to vote to legalize the reefer in Ohio.

I’m kicking off my week of birthday festivities, so have some fun here tonight and for the rest of the week.

The BoD Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event

Welcome everyone to the first OFFICIAL Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event, sponsored by Scott Keith’s Blog of Doom. It’s Halloween, which means it’s gonna be a WILD night here at the BoD.

Special thanks to Mr. Cresto for the banner.

College football has been on all day and will continue throughout the evening. The Mets will look to even up the World Series in Queens tonight against Kansas City.

And in our MAIN EVENT, our good friend Bobby has set up a compilation of the best Halloween Havoc matches for a live watch, starting at 8 p.m. You can watch along with the BoD by clicking RIGHT HERE!

All this and more tonight on the Streets Ahead Saturday Night’s Main Event!

The Streets Ahead Friday Night Thread – Halloween Eve Edition

If you’re going to a Halloween party at the local community college, don’t eat the food. You may turn into a zombie. Although, it may not make a difference to some of the posters here…

We’ve got Game 3 of the World Series tonight, the Royals visit Flushing and lose the designated hitter. Will this be a horror story for the Mets? Or can they start the beginning of an “Amazin'” comeback? Billy Joel sings the National Anthem to kick things off.

For the Canadians, Montreal takes on Calgary in the NHL. How ’bout it, eh?

Tomorrow night, look for the all-new banner for the BoD Streets Ahead Saturday Night Main Event thread, which will be posted at 6:05 p.m. Eastern! Bobby also put together a Halloween Havoc compilation, which will be the 8 p.m. live watch.
