Do you think the internet is further splitting the wrestling audience, now that so many wrestlers have vlogs and other online content? On Dynamite, John Silver did a straight up reference to BTE in one of his spots, which for a long time viewer like myself, was hilarious, but I'm sure most of the audience didn't get. Obviously the internet is great for characters like Danhausen who got himself over with a fairly large fanbase without being on a popular wrestling TV show, but is it too much when it's feeding into network TV shows that have 10X the audience? I mean, you're a massive wrestling nerd, but you're not watching any of the internet stuff.
You’re not wrong. I don’t get the BUDGE stuff and they made no attempt to explain it. But I’d rather they assume the audience is too smart and underexplain things.
