Was Tunney really on the take, or, now hear me out here, was the kayfabe so strong that Tunney was kept isolated from all incidents involving chicanery?
He didn't have any of his exemplary assistants from his old haunts in Canada, so maybe losing his think tank brain trust lieutenants kept him from doling out justice!
Actually he did, because Billy Red Lyons was his main guy in Toronto for years and came with him to the WWF.
