Amidst the great main event at Sunday’s Money in the Bank, one moment near the end stood out to me. When Edge speared Reigns and covered him with the ref still out of commission, I was expecting the crowd to keep counting well past three,
to give Edge the “I would have won but there was no one to count the pin” excuse. But Reigns actually still kicked out at the crowd’s count at 2. I don’t recall ever seeing that before, and it was a great way to avoid the typical challenger excuse while continuing
to elevate Reigns as a character.
Just an observation.
Even in victory, they're still protecting Roman in preparation for the Rock. Cena is gonna get WRECKED at Summerslam and it's gonna be glorious. I hope Roman kicks his stupid hat, too.
