Thoughts on Tommy Rich as a worker
By Scott Keith on 27 July 2020
You seemed surprised that he’d have such a good match with Luger on that Clash, but I’ve always thought he was a decent southern style wrestler who could work well as either a babyface or a heel, so getting the crowd invested as he fought from underneath against a heel seemed par for the course for me
What’s your overall opinion on him, both in ring and promo wise?
I've never been a huge fan, but then most of my opinion on him is formed from seeing him long after he peaked too young in Georgia. He was great as a secondary heel in Memphis and had moments of his old self there, but most of where I've seen him on a regular basis was stumbling around WCW in the early 90s with the York Foundation. So it's hard for me to really have any kind of solid idea of him overall.
