A recap of the Shane Douglas-Sandman feud airs before the Sandman’s victory over Douglas to win the ECW title at Hostile City Showdown ’95 is shown. Also included are the post-match activities where Douglas put on a Monday Night RAW t-shirt and left the ECW Arena.

Styles catches up with ECW Champion the Sandman and Woman, who are greeted backstage after Hostile City Showdown ’95 by Terry Funk and Ron Simmons, both of whom want title shots. Hilarity ensues when Simmons goes to do a fist bump handshake and the Sandman has no idea what to do. Woman tells Douglas that she has the power, while the Sandman says wrestling is dead.
Styles urges fans to call the Hardcore Hotline to find out about Douglas’ future in the promotion.
Tune in next week to see ECW’s press conference in Florida where the Sandman will announce that his first title defense will be in Fort Lauderdale at the War Memorial against Cactus Jack!
The Last Word: This was just a simple recap show of the promotion’s top singles feuds, bringing fans up to date on title changes that took place at Three-Way Dance and Hostile City Showdown. Next week will probably feature much of the same until ECW is able to do its swing through Florida in early May.
