Pedro at WM

Reading your 1985 old school review, I always wondered, why wasn’t Pedro Morales at the first WrestleMania as he was obviously under contract in 85. I always thought he would’ve made the best opening squash match guy with his popularity in MSG. Bruno was there in David’s corner (ugh), but at least he was there. Why no Pedro?
I don't think there was any specific reason. He just wasn't a featured guy doing anything at that point.
