Road Warriors vs. RnR

Hey Scott,
How come the Road Warriors never had a meaningful feud with the Rock n Roll Express. Considering the Road Warriors were known for never selling and doing insane powermoves and RnR were known for taking ungodly beatings it seems perfect. There must have been some point when the RW were heels in the same promotion as the RnR.
Was it just not believable that RnR stood a chance against them?

Wouldn’t benefit either side. The Warriors weren’t going to lose and the RNR didn’t need that rub because they were already the biggest stars in theory anyway. They could do the same formula better with different dance partners (RNR with the Russians and Warriors with the MX) and everyone’s happy that way.
