Just watched the Montreal episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
You're Earl Hebner.
Brisco has just ordered you to call for the bell prematurely in the upcoming Hart / Michaels match. He has told you that you'll be fired if you disobey. You have previously given Hart your word that you won't ''double-cross” him during said match.
What do you do?
As far as Earl goes, WWE was 1000% correct to say “Go along with the designated finish we dictate in this worked match or you're fired.” That's literally his job. Vince was paying Hebner's bills, and Bret wasn't.
