Between Black Saturday and Wrestlemania

Hope all around you are doing well.
If Hogan had suffered a long term, but not career-ending, injury (similar to Lawler in '80, Sting '90, HHH '01) between Black Saturday '84 and the MSG Show on Closed Circuit in March '85 how do you think Vince pivots the company? I find it difficult to see Sgt. Slaughter picking up the Rock 'n Wrestling mantle if it happened before he left, so does JYD get a monster push against Piper? Does he turn Orndorff sooner? Cut a deal with Fritz for Kerry? Steal Greg Gagne from Verne? Or does he just false advertise Hogan for 6-9 months?
That’s a toughie but I think he pays Fritz a buttload of money and takes Kerry on as top star in that situation.
