Hi Scott , long time first time. I actually enjoyed Season 4, even though the non-linear approach made the first few episodes tough before the jokes paid off. I struggled to get through Part 1 of season 5 and haven't even attempted part 2. Tobias' pink mustache just seemed like a creepier version of "blueing" himself, and the weird retconning of season 4 aspects took me out of the moment. I was wondering if you ever watched Season 5 of AD, and what your thoughts my be?
No, season 4 really killed it off for me, and 5 just felt like they were beating a horse that was long dead. I tried a couple of episodes of 5 and it just wasn’t the same. Really it was a bad idea from the start.
