In a kayfabe/story sense, why could HHH have this invasion with his top guys & gals going through hell at War Games the night before and this come in to Survivor Series damaged?
Wouldn't he be like "let's delay War Games until next week so we come in 100%?"
Don't get me wrong, Takeover is the only PPV I care about this weekend & it was great, but the main roster stuff has lost me…
I think they're actually moving away from having the big four-day runs of NXT and then PPVs from now on, with the February Takeover running between Rumble and WM. It'll be a big improvement for reasons exactly like you note.
