How come they gave up on that push so quickly?
Did the crowd not accept him?
Did Savage or Hogan complain about being associated with him?
It seems to me that if you want to elevate someone then aligning them with top two stars is a good way to start and Herc certainly had something to him (And people were behind him whenever he fought Dibiase after the face turn)
Yeah, but once the Megapowers split, what was the point? Then he's just Hulk's buddy or something. Plus I just don't think he was very good at that level. The matches I've seen against Dibiase were certainly nothing special. Unlike someone like Beefcake, who at least stepped up his game when they pushed him at the next level.
