When did the "walk and brawl" style become a regular thing? I first remember it during the Attitude Era-Monday Night Wars, but did it start before then?
No it was mostly invented out of necessity to disguise Steve Austin's wrecked body, so that he could have main event matches without actually having to do anything particularly physical. The nuts and bolts were mostly lifted from ECW.
