Mysterious Masked Man

Aw man, it's a been a minute since someone asked about Furface. They only did a couple of tapings with him in that role and then moved him to the Barber Shop interview gimmick instead. I forget what the supposed payoff was going to be, but he attacked Earthquake and Rick Martel and then, as noted, it never went anywhere. There's also a whole Mandela Effect deal where he may or may not have been internally referred to as "The Mariner", but that might be because Waterworld came out a couple of years later and people retroactively associated the character with the look of Kevin Costner in that movie.

Anyway, anxiously awaiting the Ultimate Warrior died in 1991 questions now.
