IF Heyman and Bischoff are contained in their roles, IF Vince assumes the overseer “filter” role he played with Russo and doesn’t micro-manage, IF HHH is happy to work with both men…
For better or worse, Heyman and Bischoff managed to spearhead two distinct wrestling promotions to success before succumbing to their worst instincts. Do you see some potential in this working? Can Vince be the other half to the better aspects of the other and create something resembling a focused product?
There's a lotta "If" there.
The problem with Bischoff is that he's had the opportunity to do so within a modern product environment before, and the result was TNA 2010, a tired recreation of all the bad stuff from WCW that somehow managed to make the company into an even bigger joke. Maybe he's learned some stuff in 10 years, I dunno, but history isn't strongly on his side here. But again, I'm willing to try something, ANYTHING, to freshen up this product.
