We hear Shawn go off on Vince McMahon at RAW after the news of him having to defend the Intercontinental Title against Crush despite that not being a stipulation when the match was signed.

Best of Three Falls: Doink the Clown & Money Inc. vs. Steiner Brothers & Tatanka

This match took place at the 5/25 “Wrestling Challenge” tapings in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Match starts off with a pier six brawl. Tatanka and Doink brawl on the outside then DiBiase tries to piledrive Rick but Scott comes off of the top with a clothesline and Rick covers to win the first fall (0:33). We go to break then come back as Tatanka has DiBiase in an arm bar. Rick tags in now and works the arm as Ross talks about the eight-man tag at the PPV. Scott comes in without tagging as the announcers agree that he should have to go back to the apron. We get some back-and-forth until IRS ducks outside to avoid a clothesline from Rick. IRS gets chased back inside and catches Rick’s foot but Rick takes his tie then snaps his neck off of the top rope. Doink breaks up a pin attempt then Scott runs in but the ref yells at him and that allows Rick to get double-teamed. Doink is now in and hits a sit-down splash then laughs for a bit as Rick is neutralized in the opposing corner. IRS slams Rick then Doink comes off of the top with a flying elbow drop but Rick powers out to beat the three count. Rick continues to take a lot of punishment then DiBiase finally pins him with a piledriver as we are tied at one fall apiece (6:45). The third fall starts after the break as Rick is still getting beaten down. Doink tries for a piledriver but Rick breaks that up with a back drop then Rick comes back with a clothesline as both men are down. Rick then tags out as Scott runs wild on everyone. The match breaks down now with Money Inc. & The Steiners in the ring and then Rick catches DiBiase with a powerslam for the win as even Ross talks about Rick not being the legal man (9:07) **1/2.

Thoughts: Solid match with Rick doing a really good job at taking punishment. The heels used a lot of quick tags to keep the flow smooth although I will say I was disappointed with the lack of excitement after Scott made the hot tag and the finish was abrupt. Tatanka barely did anything here. Anyway, a good featured match.

Undertaker defeats PJ Walker from the

We get a bit from the hosts about how can they get to Dayton, OH for the PPV before 8pm EST. Heenan then says he has to announce with Jim Ross and Randy Savage. Now we know the PPV announce team.

Bret Hart interview from “Superstars” the airs.

Final Thoughts: A fun featured match as this was the final show to air before the King of the Ring PPV, which will be recapped tomorrow.
