When Strike Force lost the belts to Demolition, was the plan always for them to break up at WM V a year later? Or did that come later on as they were getting ready for the show?
Also why did the feud die off so fast where they never had a blow off singles match on PPV like at WM VI?
The blowoff was originally scheduled for Summerslam 89 but plans changed. The long term goal had always been to break them up but Martel's injury after WM4 kind of put the kibosh on that idea for a long time.
