Title Unification

With the Women’s Tag Team Titles being defended across all brands, do you think it’s a possibility that WWE might consider doing something similar with their secondary titles?
I could see the argument for keeping each show with its own Men’s and Women’s World Titles (even if Vince doesn’t know who the Smackdown Women’s Champion is). But there’s no need for there to be more than one set of Tag Champions and the IC Title and US Title could stand to be unified.
The IC Title has been a hot potato for months and the US Title has completely lost any meaning it might have once had. I bet most fans couldn’t even tell you who the champion is right now.
The titles have never been worth less, so why not unify them at WrestleMania? It should provide fresh undercard matchups for that show and through the summer, with champions being able to defend on both shows. Currently, that would give us The Revival vs. The Usos and Finn Balor vs. R-Truth at WM35. Have Truth drop his title to someone like AJ Styles or Samoa Joe, and you’ve got two really good WrestleMania matches with high stakes.
Or will 29 writers just forget about R-Truth being a champion until Michael Cole mentions it when he’s eliminated from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal?

Wait, WHAT? R-Truth is the US champion?

Anyway, yeah, shows like the Rumble proved that they have too many titles that no one cares about anyway. Unify the fuck out of them and let god sort 'em out.
