Watching Superstars on the Network….when did they make the decision to go with Bret over Ultimate Warrior for the title run. It seems to me that we were setting up for Warrior Flair at either Survivor Series or the Rumble. Maybe it's the 4 7% beers I've had , but I just got the chills thinking about Yoko v Warrior at WMIX.
They literally decided to go with Bret on the day he won the title, or at most the day before. And yeah, they were definitely on the fast track to Flair putting Warrior over on the way out, although I don't know that we would have got Warrior v. Yoko at Wrestlemania in that world.
