Storylines that ruined wrestlers characters?

What storyline instances ruined a wrestler's character? This wasn't for 1 individual wrestler, but a group; When they did the whole "John Cena is fired" storyline with Nexus in late 2010, of course Cena never really left and began attacking Nexus members backstage. Three of the members went to Nexus leader Wade Barrett and demanded he re-instate Cena because the fucking 4 of them couldn't handle 1 guy, and they needed him to be re-hired to do it. Not only didn't it make any sense, it made the 4 of them look like total pussies for a faction that started out with so much promise. They didn't last much longer after that.
X-Pac’s heel turn on Kane. Killed a very over tag team and by extension most of the tag division. And XPac never got as over or to as high of a level as he was before that point. It was also the start of X-Pac Heat.
