A tale of 2 heel turns

It's like night and day with Ambrose and Daniel Bryan. With Bryan you can tell he has some say on what his heel character is like and you can tell by watching SD becaise it seems fresh and new. Whereas with Ambrose being a shield guy/former world champ/ workhorse etc gets stuck wearing a gas mask and taking vaccines and using insults against the fans even The Iconics wouldnt use. Is it that these guys have no say whatsoever in what they do?
It's just weird how you take 2 uppercard baby faces with good mic skills. And one is awesome and the other is the lamest crap ever.
I know, right? Tell everyone that veganism is the best and using an unbreakable small package as a finish? What even is that?
