Hey Scott, hope all is well. Besides the 5 minute reign in 88, why was Andre never champ? I know back in the day, you didnt need the title to be over, but, Andre was money and could have had a title reign around the Backlund era. Was it Andre not wanting the strap?
Andre made far more money touring the country, and making him champion would have killed the drawing power because people could see him all the time.
