All About Working Part-Time

> Loving the Observer recaps and it got me thinking. I know saying “shouldn’t it bother Vince that” is useless, but shouldn’t it bother him that the only match-ups folks talk about leading up to big shows these days involve part-timers?
>
> Take Wrestlemania. All the talk is “will Rock show-up?” “Who will take on the Undertaker in his one match of the year?” “What’s Brock doing?”. Hell, you could make the argument that even Cena is sort of a part-timer at this point. There are no match-ups with the full-time roster that you can point to with any type of excitement, ala Flair-Steamboat, Austin-Rock, etc.
>
> The latest is relic, of course, is Goldberg. What will Vince do when he runs out of fossils to pull out of the woodwork? Like you said, you have to think that Goldberg is the last, but Angle is still sitting out there, as well as bringing Micheals back for one more kick at the can.
>
> Has there ever been a time in wresting history where one promotion was relying so much on part-timers and there is so little buzz around the guys that go out there every week?
>
> I blame Kevin Owens’ immense waistline.
