It’s there weekend and there’s plenty to discuss:
- CM Punk makes his UFC debut this evening vs. Mickey Gall. At the weigh-in yesterday he refused to shake Gall’s hand
- Alberto Del Rio has been released from WWE. His first post-WWE appearance is with World Association of Wrestling, the promotion run by Paige’s parents
- According to Dave Meltzer, Paige is not yet gone from WWE
- Scotty 2 Hotty (Scott Taylor) has become a full-time coach at WWE’s Performance Centre

- Smackdown ratings were down 13% this week – the lowest since the brand split
