WWE.com Smackdown Preview
More WWE Cuts Expected?
According to PWInsider, there are more WWE cuts expected to take place after the Extreme Rules PPV. Among those cuts rumored are someone considered as a surprise release, a women’s star and someone else who would be considered a superstar. The word is that these releases are to clear roster space for new signings.
Shane McMahon Update
Originally, Shane was only going to be involved only through WrestleMania but his huge reaction for his return and the fact ticket sales moved quick when his match was announced led to the idea for keeping him on as a TV character and feuding with his sister, Stephanie.
Brock Lesnar Update
Lesnar is expected to return to TV in August, presumably to build for a major match at SummerSlam. Originally, he was going to face either Bray Wyatt or Braun Strowman but that was before the WWE decided to pull Strowman from winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and being pushed as a monster heading into the Summer.
Excellent WWE Network Adventure
The adventure continues as the boys look back at the 7/23/84 edition of TNT!
Mission: Indiepossible returns! Jordan Duncan and Brad Woodling join host Steve Wille to explore the history of Bryan Danielson in Chikara. The guys cover his King of Trios run in 2009, a huge tag match later that year, and then his brief return after his WWE suspension in 2010. In total, all seven of Danielson’s matches are looked at in this intimate review of a small portion of Danielson’s great career. Also discussed: the ascension of Claudio Castagnoli, Mike Quackenbush’s booking and in-ring work, and the wacky rings and buildings in the world of independent wrestling. And find out which announcer/referee really impresses all three members of the panel (Hint: it’s the only person with that role).
