I know it’s still potentially early to be asking this, but it’s not looking good: what was the point of Ryder winning at Mania only to lose it straight away, followed by being knocked down the pecking order (Cesaro number one contender, losing to Corbin; beatdown after).

Really, THIS incarnation of Zack Ryder is the one that people are rallying behind now? It was ridiculously obvious the moment that he won the title that he’d be losing it the next night, it was just a question of who beat him. He had his moment, whatever, there’s way better targets to focus smarkish rage on. "Holding down Zack Ryder" is four years too late to do anything productive about it.
