After the New York Post commented on Shane’s return to the company and how he could assume a role in management, a WWE spokesman donwplayed the situation and advised reading too much into it, noting that Shane is just “playing a character on a TV show.”

Kazuchika Okada Update

It has been reported that Okada was proposed with a five-year contract by New Japan Pro Wrestling. While New Japan traditionally signs wrestlers to one-year deals, the company realizes the WWE are trying to sign as much talent as possible.
