A little pissed off here, Scott. I appreciate the fans pay good money to go to events such as tonight’s TLC PPV in Boston, but I find something extremely unsavoury about "fans" chanting for wrestlers who are out indefinitely (Rollins, Bryan, Punk etc) just to seemingly get under the skin of Reigns and Sheamus whilst they are taking some stiff bumps to their bodies to entertain the very people that are attempting to make them feel insignificant and unwanted. I would fairly rapidly lose my smile if I were on the receiving end of it week after week. I hope I’m not alone in condemning this shitty behaviour.
I think the crowd is more angry at the company than the performers. Not to mention the fact that the very people who create the product have gone out of their way to turn it into a stage play with little interaction from fans, who are apparently there only to "have fun" and tweet how much fun they’re having using company-approved hashtags. Really it’s a bizarre antagonistic relationship on both sides that’s been brewing for a year or more now.
