Is it me or was the Hogan-Bundy cage match at Wrestlemania 2 very underwhelming given the build up?
After the big angle to set it up and announcing it would be settled in a cage, the match just felt like a standard house show match and nothing particular memorable.
Was Bundy the choice all along or was he thrown into the spot late in the planning for Mania 2?
A lot of things were underwhelming about WM2, not the least of which was the main event. And yes, Bundy was the choice all along, even though in hindsight everyone knows that Piper should have been the guy. But I guess the feeling was putting a cage match on PPV was special enough on its own, I dunno?
