Hoping all of you had a great weekend and a great Monday. For some of you in the USA today is a holiday so I hope you had a good long weekend.

Tonight RAW continues it’s road to Wrestlemania with a stop off at Fastlane and I believe it’s in Los Angeles tonight. The Rock has been throwing out a bunch of teases to make me think he’s going to make an appearance tonight. And the only announced match is Braun Strowman against Big Show.

As for the rest of the television night there’s a TON of college basketball on and a couple of hockey games. New episode of Supergirl, season finale of Timeless and season premiere of Bates Motel. Discuss all as you wish.

A little early tonight but I have stuff to do so you get it when you get it. Anyway, PPV last night. Loved the EC match, the new worker-friendly chamber makes for a much more entertaining match with guys more eager to do big spots. And Luke Harper was brave in trying to pull Randy Orton from his tendency to work just hard enough for us to be aware he still has a pulse.

RAW tonight as the Road to Wrestlemania shifts to the “Fastlane” show.

In other TV news. The UConn women go for win No. 100 in a row. And there’s the 24: Legacy thing too, they have a new episode. Otherwise talk and stuff!

So did the Falcons pull a Luger last night? Not sure exactly what you could equate that choke job to but it made for a hell of a game. Between that and Vince McMahon describing the XFL as a colossal failure there’s been a lot of stuff happening since last week.

Moving on, the Road to Wrestlemania is taking shape as we have less than two months worth of programming before the major event takes place in Orlando. So there’s probably another “action-packed” RAW on tap that will help us get there. Maybe Samoa Joe will talk and explain his actions or maybe they will figure out how to get this program accelerated while Rollins is on the shelf with a knee injury.

There’s a lot of stuff on TV tonight but this thread is late getting up so you’ll just have to check it out for yourself.

Welcome to the Road to Wrestlemania!!!!!! Despite all the complaining about 10 minutes of a 60-minute match the old sports entertainment promotion put on a solid card last night with some quality matches. The winner of the Rumble was a little bit of a surprise but I like surprises. At least now we can start to see how they put the pieces of the puzzle together for the big show in April.

SO even though RAW might be a chore to sit through, it’s going to be the show that paints the picture we’re likely to see at Camping World Stadium and we’ll possibly get another Hall of Fame inductee. (I am hoping for Iron Mike Sharpe, it’s time dammit!) And maybe Steph won’t completely cut off Seth Rollins’ balls tonight. She will save a little bit for Triple H to finish the job.

As for other TV. HBO has an interesting Warren Buffet documentary and PBS seems to have a pretty cool one on war and stuff. It’s the winter finale of Gotham (didn’t the winter debut just happen?)

Keep it clean kiddos!

This is the official “go home” week for the Royal Rumble, which will kick start the road to Wrestlemania 33, so if there was ever a time for RAW to bring something to the table, tonight would be it.

This Rumble has me thinking about the participants. Cena, Styles, Reigns and Owens all have matches likely keeping them out of the Rumble, which is why they had to recruit Brock, Goldberg and ‘Taker in there to get some names. I’m waiting to see if any surprise entries leak this week. I’m guessing Big Show will be one because they have to get him on TV in preparation of his WM match. Maybe Shelton Benjamin is healthy and ready to roll. Maybe Rob Van Dam will have another surprise cameo.

Anyway, there’s other stuff on TV too. New episode of Gotham, Supergirl makes its mid-season return. There’s a good HBO documentary on tonight about the internet hoax of “The Slenderman” that led a girl to take her friend into the woods and stab her 19 times. Should be interesting.

Enjoy the night and keep it clean!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and for at least some Americans it was a three-day weekend. With football out of the picture I always consider this the start of the “season” for the WWE. The stretch that starts with the final build to the Rumble and takes us through Summerslam. So if RAW is going to start picking up the pace a little and finding some direction, shows like tonight would be the start of things to come.

I did catch the finals of the UK tournament today and I actually enjoyed most of it. I loved Pete Dunne and the “Bruiserweight” is everything 205 Live needs. They need a good, bully heel that’s a total shit head to carry that show and be the guy that babyfaces can chase. I would bring him in and put the title on him quickly.

As for other TV. Gotham is on and that will excite some of you. Lots of sports all day and the big game tonight is Cleveland at Golden State at 8 p.m.

So come out swinging and KEEP IT CLEAN!

Too much happening today so we’re going to put this thing up early tonight. RAW is right down the road from me in Tampa but I’m probably going to sit here and watch the Rose Bowl and then the Orange Bowl or go to sleep, whichever comes first.

Or if I get bored with that I’ll watch the new Celebrity Apprentice with Ahhh-nold.

Or if I get bored with that I’ll watch Ronda get knocked out in 48 seconds again.

I hope those that celebrate or are celebrating are having a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and/or Happy Boxing Day!

Usually these Christmas RAW specials either suck or are harmless fun so hopefully it’s the latter. If you need something better than the Cowboys-Lions matchup is a pretty good one. There’s also some college football and college basketball on. I think I’m definitely going to DVR this Ravi Patel documentary on PBS. And there is a Breaking Bad marathon. Otherwise enjoy your post-holiday eating.

Happy Holidays Blog O’ Doomers!

Another Monday night and another follow-up RAW episode to another below-average, slightly boring PPV. Last night I realized that they just need to put the strap on Goldberg (or Cena) and just let them roll with it until Wrestlemania or longer if need be. Sometimes a shot in the arm is what’s needed and this boring crop of guys needs an injection.

Otherwise another halfway decent Monday Night football game on between the Panthers and Washington. And there’s other sports on. Probably some Christmas movies too. Maybe you can watch Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern put over Macaulay Culkin or Bruce Willis take out an entire terrorist ward.

Either way.

Hope you all had a great weekend of holiday shopping and watching movies and sports and whatever else you decide to do.

Tonight’s schedule includes a go-home RAW for the upcoming Roadblock Network Special and a pretty damn good MNF game between the Patriots and Ravens that should cut into the RAW rating significantly.

For those looking for a little less violence tonight the original Wizard of Oz is on TNT at 7 p.m. and 9:15 ET. And the two-part finale of The Voice is on.

Enjoy. Keep it Clean!

Howdy Blog O’ Doomers!

A little bit of an early start for the thread tonight but that’s ok because it gives you more time to get riled up for the start of a late night RAW. I watched TLC in bits and pieces and my thoughts are fairly aligned with Scott’s and watching the show is the sad realization that the roster is too thin to do much with and they would be wise to start a secondary tag team program to fill out some of the time. The main event was spectacular and I liked the women’s title match all right. Dolph-Miz had a decent match but it wasn’t much different than the other several matches they had. Being good friends they can always carry each other to something watchable.

I enjoyed post-show Talking Smack more and realized that they probably need to do something with Corbin but with heels holding all the titles there isn’t room for him unless he just decides to go into a “mercenary” type role and decides to target Miz or something.

Anyway what else is on TV tonight? Well there’s The Voice and…hey the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is tonight so maybe all of you can have boners for a legitimate reason.

Until then KEEP IT CLEAN!

Hope you all had a nice weekend or if you are in America you had a nice, long holiday weekend.

We’re back on that Monday thing and tonight RAW continues its build to…whatever they are building to right now. I’m guessing it includes a lot of Goldberg, who has just completely drowned out the rest of the roster with a couple of appearances.

As for Monday Night football there’s the Packers, led by miserable family-hating prick Aaron Rodgers, against the Eagles, led by a fan base that boos Santa Claus.

And the Voice is on, but I’m pretty much over that show now.

Anyway, keep it clean!

Between 5,000+ posts in the Survivor Series thread and over 2,500 in the morning thread you guys are clearly talkative or bored today. So here’s your evening thread a little early since I want to shop for groceries this evening.

We’ve got the post-Survivor Series RAW and Oakland-Houston on Monday Night football. There’s a ton of college basketball on as well but I will be keyed in on the PBS “Soundbreaking” documentary since I am a music nerd.

As for the PPV there was nothing really great or offensive on there. Guys just are struggling to create a big match feel or deliver with big match quality. The only thing I did sort of like was the crowd reaction to the 90-second Goldberg-Lesnar match because that crowd wanted to see Goldberg do Goldberg things and he delivered. Hopefully they can follow up with something compelling but I doubt it.

Hope every had a great weekend we’re back for another Monday and let’s see we’ve got the RAW go-home show for Survivor Series along with some silly debate on the Network post show.

There’s also the college basketball tip-off marathon on ESPN2 which means if you want to see Pacific vs. Green Bay at 2 a.m. EST tonight is your night.

And we’ve got the Giants vs. Bengals for Monday Night Football and the debut of “Mars” on the National Geographic Channel…which sadly means the end of all those crappy shows of people slumming it in Alaska during the winter months.

If none of that is what you want then find something else but remember to KEEP IT CLEAN!

Sadly I have no big news or streaming service to offer you guys so here’s a thread for your Monday Night observations. Beyond RAW and the Monday Night Football game between Denver and Houston there is your wide array of shows Monday night shows on and some World Series preview stuff on select channels.

Outside of the norm there is an interesting documentary on PBS in which a videogame programmer and his wife collaborate on a game keyed to their son’s battle with cancer. It’s called Thank You for Playing.

I can’t believe there are some dumbasses in my neighborhood looking for Christmas trees so they could have it up by Halloween. This ruined my day. Not because I hate Christmas, I love opening presents in my jammies and eating cookies without guilt for a day. But I just hate the disrespect given to Thanksgiving (U.S. edition…I know Canadian Thanksgiving happened last week and I hope it was a good one for those celebrating). Why skip over arguably the best holiday on the calendar? Hell I wish I lived closer to the northern border and I’d celebrate Thanksgiving twice. It’s a holiday that’s based around food, sports and food comas. There’s not a better holiday. You might disagree but you’d be wrong.

Anyway RAW is on tonight and I haven’t watched it in a month so I have no clue what’s going on other than about 3-5 people need to move to Smackdown (Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Nia Jax would be my three immediate moves).

MNF is Jets-Cardinals. Dismal matchup but my husband is a die-hard Jets fan so therefore I support the Jets out of marriage and his pain is my pain so I’ll probably be a little salty tonight after he cries himself to sleep.

Cleveland-Toronto Game 3. Go We The North!

Oh yeah, a couple of people said nice things about me and the family staying safe and out of Hurricane Matthew’s way and I want to say thank you for those kind words.

Speak on whatever makes you feel good but KEEP IT CLEAN!

I hope all had a good weekend. Thankfully the hurricane stayed away from my area in Florida but my heart goes out to anyone that wasn’t as fortunate because it’s just a tough clean up process mentally and physically. Otherwise I tried to get through No Mercy past the opening match but it was a chore. Smackdown does a good job of masking the weaknesses on the roster but in a three-hour PPV they get exposed. That brand needs a couple of new bodies. Hopefully when Samoa Joe is done with this final Takeover he can come in and please free Sami Zayn from spinning his wheels on RAW because Styles will need a new opponent after they run Ambrose one more time. Just those two guys alone would do wonders for that roster.

Anyway there’s RAW tonight and an NFC South tilt between the Bucs and Panthers on Monday night Football. Right now with the baseball playoffs Washington leads the Dodgers 4-3 in the top of the seventh and Boston and Cleveland are in a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth. Chicago and San Francisco are scheduled for first pitch at around 9:30 ET.

So talk about wrestling or football or baseball or the time you tried to grab a girl in the pussy are got your hand sliced off. Laugh at Randy Moss’ country ass accent.

Whatever you do…keep it clean!

Doing a quick thread starter on my phone so no time for chit chat. A low-rated RAW will be ready to roll for you right at 8 pm and soonafter the Giants and Vikings will play on Monday Night Football. If you don’t want to talk about those things you can chat on the impending death of TNA or the MLB Playoffs or Dancing with the Stars. It’s your world baby!

Hard to think of what will take over the discussion thread tonight. There’s RAW with its ratings falling like rocks from a mountain or there’s a less-than-appealing Saints vs. Falcons game on Monday night or there’s a U.S. Presidential debate which has the potential of being a comedy or a tragedy and a better chance of being both in one.

Network special last night? It was ok. I couldn’t get into the Kevin Owens/Seth Rollins match at all. There was no reason to exactly be invested in either of these guys. RAW needs something…I don’t know exactly what it is but they need something that can grip the viewer again. Rollins vs. Owens isn’t it in my opinion.

Anyway, enjoy your Monday night and…

It’s another Monday! Let’s see how far RAW’s ratings can fall now that football has taken ownership of Monday Nights for the next few months. RAW promises an Rollins-Rusev clash which is certainly something different as tonight is the go home show for Clash of the Champions.

There is football on as you can watch the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Chicago Bears in a game likely to feature two teams that won’t make the playoffs.

The World Cup of Hockey is also on tonight as Team North America takes on those evil commie bastards from Russia! USA No. 1! Canada No. 1! Russia..ack poo!

Keep it clean boys!

Howdy!

A little early today because the NFL game starts at 7 and then there’s RAW…but who’s actually going to watch RAW tonight? Luckily RAW isn’t coming off of a PPV so they don’t have to follow up last night’s card. For the record I thought it was a good PPV with a heck of a main event and generally entertaining up and down the card. Having such a short match list stretched the participants out and they responded.

So enjoy the Steelers and Washington and enjoy the 49ers and Rams unless that’s past your bedtime.

Hope you have all had a Happy Labor Day (or Labour Day if you speak Canadian) weekend. I know you’re all thrilled to see the fallout from Triple H being the alpha dog and making Kevin Owens champion because god forbid HHH doesn’t jump in to take someone’s heat when they start getting over.

Or you’ll watch the college football game like me and wait until the content dump on the Network tomorrow to see if this Last Battle of Atlanta thing is for reals.
