We have made it to Wrestlemania Week! I was actually riding through Orlando over the weekend and the billboards are starting to pop up everywhere around that area.

This is the go home RAW and tomorrow is the go home Smackdown and Wednesday is the go home NXT so whatever chess pieces need to be moved to finalize Wrestlemania they will get done in the next 2-3 nights.

As for the non-wrestling viewing, I’m at the Lightning-Blackhawks NHL game tonight. There’s a couple more NHL games and Cavaliers will probably rest more of their guys against the Spurs tonight. Dancing with the Stars is on. I think Bates Motel is new. Women’s Elite 8 basketball. All kinds of stuff!

Now that we’ve had our fun with Southpaw Regional Wrestling, etc, etc. it’s time to go back to the regular stuff that we hate and sludge through these final two RAW episodes on the Road to Wrestlemania.

In terms of other sports there’s the women’s NCAA tournament and Warriors-Thunder on at 8 p.m. EDT.

New episodes of The Voice and Bates Motel and stuff like that as well.

I hope you are all having a great Monday and enjoyed your weekend.

The Road to Wrestlemania continues its track down the final stretch this week, it looks like Rusev will be unavailable to participate in the ARMBAR and that’s a shame.

Otherwise there’s a decent NHL slate although I don’t know why the Avalanche-Islanders game is the national game in the states.

Decent NBA slate too with a quality Hawks-Spurs game starting in a few minutes.

New episodes of The Voice AND Bates Motel. Bates Motel is the tits this season, not the titty master…that’s Dean Ambrose.

It’s time for another exciting Monday night. With the necessary evil known as Fastlane behind us we only have a few shows remaining on the Road to Wrestlemania. Should be a night where we see more of the chess pieces move around as the Wrestlemania card gets finalized.

If Monday Night Raw ain’t your thing. Try some hockey on for size. Dallas and Washington is on a national broadcast and I’m going to be enjoying a few drinks at the Lightning-Rangers game. Also the start of tournament week as some lucky team will earn the right to lose by 40 to Kentucky in the first round.

Outside of the sports there’s a new episode of the Voice and a new episode of Bates Motel that I have DVR’d.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and are enjoying a fine Monday!

RAW continues it’s Road to Wrestlemania but tonight is the go home show for Fastlane so there is a lot that could happen.

In other television we’ve got the season premiere of The Voice and another new episode of Bates Motel.

Lots of college basketball on, three hockey games and keep an eye on that NHL trade wires!

Hoping all of you had a great weekend and a great Monday. For some of you in the USA today is a holiday so I hope you had a good long weekend.

Tonight RAW continues it’s road to Wrestlemania with a stop off at Fastlane and I believe it’s in Los Angeles tonight. The Rock has been throwing out a bunch of teases to make me think he’s going to make an appearance tonight. And the only announced match is Braun Strowman against Big Show.

As for the rest of the television night there’s a TON of college basketball on and a couple of hockey games. New episode of Supergirl, season finale of Timeless and season premiere of Bates Motel. Discuss all as you wish.

A little early tonight but I have stuff to do so you get it when you get it. Anyway, PPV last night. Loved the EC match, the new worker-friendly chamber makes for a much more entertaining match with guys more eager to do big spots. And Luke Harper was brave in trying to pull Randy Orton from his tendency to work just hard enough for us to be aware he still has a pulse.

RAW tonight as the Road to Wrestlemania shifts to the “Fastlane” show.

In other TV news. The UConn women go for win No. 100 in a row. And there’s the 24: Legacy thing too, they have a new episode. Otherwise talk and stuff!

So did the Falcons pull a Luger last night? Not sure exactly what you could equate that choke job to but it made for a hell of a game. Between that and Vince McMahon describing the XFL as a colossal failure there’s been a lot of stuff happening since last week.

Moving on, the Road to Wrestlemania is taking shape as we have less than two months worth of programming before the major event takes place in Orlando. So there’s probably another “action-packed” RAW on tap that will help us get there. Maybe Samoa Joe will talk and explain his actions or maybe they will figure out how to get this program accelerated while Rollins is on the shelf with a knee injury.

There’s a lot of stuff on TV tonight but this thread is late getting up so you’ll just have to check it out for yourself.

Welcome to the Road to Wrestlemania!!!!!! Despite all the complaining about 10 minutes of a 60-minute match the old sports entertainment promotion put on a solid card last night with some quality matches. The winner of the Rumble was a little bit of a surprise but I like surprises. At least now we can start to see how they put the pieces of the puzzle together for the big show in April.

SO even though RAW might be a chore to sit through, it’s going to be the show that paints the picture we’re likely to see at Camping World Stadium and we’ll possibly get another Hall of Fame inductee. (I am hoping for Iron Mike Sharpe, it’s time dammit!) And maybe Steph won’t completely cut off Seth Rollins’ balls tonight. She will save a little bit for Triple H to finish the job.

As for other TV. HBO has an interesting Warren Buffet documentary and PBS seems to have a pretty cool one on war and stuff. It’s the winter finale of Gotham (didn’t the winter debut just happen?)

Keep it clean kiddos!

This is the official “go home” week for the Royal Rumble, which will kick start the road to Wrestlemania 33, so if there was ever a time for RAW to bring something to the table, tonight would be it.

This Rumble has me thinking about the participants. Cena, Styles, Reigns and Owens all have matches likely keeping them out of the Rumble, which is why they had to recruit Brock, Goldberg and ‘Taker in there to get some names. I’m waiting to see if any surprise entries leak this week. I’m guessing Big Show will be one because they have to get him on TV in preparation of his WM match. Maybe Shelton Benjamin is healthy and ready to roll. Maybe Rob Van Dam will have another surprise cameo.

Anyway, there’s other stuff on TV too. New episode of Gotham, Supergirl makes its mid-season return. There’s a good HBO documentary on tonight about the internet hoax of “The Slenderman” that led a girl to take her friend into the woods and stab her 19 times. Should be interesting.

Enjoy the night and keep it clean!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and for at least some Americans it was a three-day weekend. With football out of the picture I always consider this the start of the “season” for the WWE. The stretch that starts with the final build to the Rumble and takes us through Summerslam. So if RAW is going to start picking up the pace a little and finding some direction, shows like tonight would be the start of things to come.

I did catch the finals of the UK tournament today and I actually enjoyed most of it. I loved Pete Dunne and the “Bruiserweight” is everything 205 Live needs. They need a good, bully heel that’s a total shit head to carry that show and be the guy that babyfaces can chase. I would bring him in and put the title on him quickly.

As for other TV. Gotham is on and that will excite some of you. Lots of sports all day and the big game tonight is Cleveland at Golden State at 8 p.m.

So come out swinging and KEEP IT CLEAN!

Too much happening today so we’re going to put this thing up early tonight. RAW is right down the road from me in Tampa but I’m probably going to sit here and watch the Rose Bowl and then the Orange Bowl or go to sleep, whichever comes first.

Or if I get bored with that I’ll watch the new Celebrity Apprentice with Ahhh-nold.

Or if I get bored with that I’ll watch Ronda get knocked out in 48 seconds again.

I hope those that celebrate or are celebrating are having a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and/or Happy Boxing Day!

Usually these Christmas RAW specials either suck or are harmless fun so hopefully it’s the latter. If you need something better than the Cowboys-Lions matchup is a pretty good one. There’s also some college football and college basketball on. I think I’m definitely going to DVR this Ravi Patel documentary on PBS. And there is a Breaking Bad marathon. Otherwise enjoy your post-holiday eating.

Happy Holidays Blog O’ Doomers!

Another Monday night and another follow-up RAW episode to another below-average, slightly boring PPV. Last night I realized that they just need to put the strap on Goldberg (or Cena) and just let them roll with it until Wrestlemania or longer if need be. Sometimes a shot in the arm is what’s needed and this boring crop of guys needs an injection.

Otherwise another halfway decent Monday Night football game on between the Panthers and Washington. And there’s other sports on. Probably some Christmas movies too. Maybe you can watch Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern put over Macaulay Culkin or Bruce Willis take out an entire terrorist ward.

Either way.
