According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the current rumor within the WWE is that Randy Orton will be named as Brock Lesnar’s opponent at SummerSlam.

WWE Considering Breaking up the New Day?

There are some WWE officials who believe that the buzz surrounding the New Day isnt as good as it once was and the group should be split up, leading to talks of the New Day breaking up later this month. However, there are also other WWE officials who disagree and say that the New Day should remain and are doing well, pointing at their merchandise sales.

After Wednesday’s report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Reigns had to apologize for getting suspended to the WWE locker room, Wrestlezone reports that two sources told them the apology never happened as Reigns packed his bags and left following the June 20th edition of RAW.

WWE Planning a Roman Reigns Redemption Storyline?

According to the PW Torch, Vince McMahon is planning a redemption storyline upon Reigns’ return from suspension. The story would have Reigns down due to his Wellness Policy violation then find a way to get back to where he was before and be even better than he was. Vince reportedly feels that if he creates a story in the way he would want it told, he may finally get fans to buy into Reigns and cheer for him.

Its been reported that Hogan is back to being on good terms with the company and that Vince McMahon along with other top WWE Officials are open to the idea of Hogan returning to the company.


Ryback Update

Ryback underwent ear surgery on Monday. He is also scheduled to get surgery on his nose and throat. Still no word if Ryback will ever return to work for the WWE.


First Four Entrants in the 2016 PWG Battle of Los Angeles Tournament Announced

Cody Rhodes, Kamaitachi, Jeff Cobb (Matanza), and Mark Haskins will be in the tournament, which runs September 2nd-4th.
