Wade Barrett Injury Update

Barrett has been sidelined with a stinger in his neck that he suffered a few weeks ago and is taking time to let it heal. The injury is not considered to be serious and he should be able to return soon.



Former WWE Head of Security Passes Away

Jim Dotson, who was with the company during the “Attitude Era” passed away on December 10th at age 49. He had many health problems, including an incurable eye disease which prevented him from working. Without any life or health insurance, his family has started a “Go Fund Me” page to help cover funeral expenses, which you can access in the link below.

From the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario

Your hosts are Jesse “The Body” Ventura and Vince McMahon. (Gorilla Monsoon was scheduled to do the play-by-play but suffered a mild heart attack and missed this show as well as the next set of Challenge TV tapings as Vince also replaced him there).

Vince runs down the show, including the official contract signing between Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan for the WWF World Title match on February 5th. Also, Dino Bravo attempts to set the World Bench Press record, and matches such as the Jumping Bomb Angels vs. Glamour Girls for the WWF Women’s Tag Team Titles, Islanders vs. Young Stallions, Rick Rude vs. Ricky Steamboat, and the 20 Man Royal Rumble match.

At the moment, Styles is still scheduled to work the Ring of Honor “Final Battle” show on 12/18. If he is unable to go, they may go with  three-way match for the Championship of Jay Lethal vs. Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly.

Rey Mysterio Update

According to a source,  Mysterio is close to signing with Lucha Underground, if he hasnt already. He will be appearing at this coming Sunday’s TV tapings but unlikely that he will be wrestling as he was seen using a crutch at this past Saturday’s AAA TV tapings.
