Harry Smith, son of former WWE star Davey Boy Smith, has gained exclusive rights to the “British Bulldog” name.

WWE Interested in Lucha Underground Talents

Before season two of LU was announced, the WWE was said to be very interested in both Ricochet and Angelico. However, with the show picked up for a second season, Ricochet has a seven-year contract with the promotion. There was talk if they could sign Ricochet that he would be fast-tracked to face Finn Balor in NXT.

Charlotte and Bram’s Divorce Almost Finalized

WWE Possibly Signing Two More Independent Talents?

Wrestler Nikki Storm from Scotland is expected to sign with the WWE. While not yet officially signed, she did not appear at the most recent Shimmer TV tapings because its under the assumption she is on her way to the WWE. Also, wrestler Tommy End is on the radar and will be possibly brought in for a future tryout camp.

Actor Josh Gad, along with partner Ryan Dixon, have been hired to write the film. There is no update as to when it is scheduled to go into production.

Over the past several weeks, Del Rio’s name has come up in conversation for creative ideas. While there is no confirmation he is returning to the company at this time, the timing of this is interesting as the WWE is heading to Mexico this weekend.

Sami Zayn to Appear on Evolve Shows and WWE/Evolve Update

This weekend, Zayn will appear on the Evolve 49 and 50 iPPV’s. Zayn will be signing autographs both nights and will be doing something in the ring but it will only be for the live audience as they are not allowing him to appear on the iPPV portion of the show. As far as the WWE/Evolve relationship, talent can work with Evolve prior to going to the WWE as the WWE does not want to sign talent that has been on National cable or can be merchandised in some form based on prior agreements.

It has also been reported by those reaching out to Cena that Cena himself insisted everything is fine and stated to a few that when everyone finds out why he’s taking time off they will see its a good thing but still remains guarded as to the actual reason.

Update on WWE Low Ratings

The low ratings for the past few episodes of RAW have reportedly caused great concern among Vince McMahon and HHH, who are planning to come up with a blockbuster angle to bring back viewers. Some backstage are blaming the mega-push of Seth Rollins, feeling that he has been overexposed and that his weekly promos are not working, but its also been reported that Vince and HHH are standing firm behind Rollins and support him all the way.

James Storm wrestled at last night’s TV Tapings at Full Sail University. His match will be airing on October 21st.
