TNA and Ring of Honor TV Viewership Numbers

This past episode of Impact drew 270,000 viewers, with the midnight replay drawing 60,000 viewers, giving it a total of 330,000 viewers. This was down from last week, which drew 330,000 viewers in the original timeslot. This past episode of RoH TV drew 148,000 viewers, down slightly from last week’s number of 151,000.

Update on NXT Shows During SummerSlam Weekend

Right now, the plan is for a live show to air on the WWE Network Saturday August 22nd from 8-10pm, followed by a taping of one NXT TV episode, which will presumably air on August 26th.

The show is scheduled to air on the Network later this year. Originally, it was going to be formatted the same as “Tough Enough” but with the company feeling that format is not working out, they are making changes.

RAW Ratings

Last night’s RAW drew 3.84 million viewers, up 4% from last week. It was the second highest show on cable TV Monday night, behind “Major Crimes” on TNT. Here are the hourly breakdowns:

8pm: 3.79 million viewers

9pm: 3.95 million viewers

10pm: 3.78 million viewers


Original Plans For Stardust’s Partner at SummerSlam

The original plan was for Stardust to team with The Miz at SummerSlam to face Neville & Stephen Amell. However, when the Miz’s feud with Ryback and Big Show got delayed the WWE decided to make King Barrett Stardust’s new partner.


WWE Wrestler Debuts New Ring Name

During last night’s Smackdown tapings, Brad Maddox, sporting blond hair, announced before his match that will air on “Main Event” that his new name is “Joshua Kingsley.”

Ziggler was originally scheduled to return last week for Smackdown then for this past RAW but plans were cancelled.

Goldust Update
