Kevin Owens Update

WWE officials remain high on Owens and have had significant praise for him over the past few months. At one point, there were plans for Owens to win Money in the Bank. There’s a feeling that he will be involved in the main event scene before WrestleMania 33.

Plans to Add Additional Title Belts to the Smackdown Brand

The current plan is to add a Tag Team Title and a Women’s Title sometime this Fall.

Dragon Lee to Debut For Ring of Honor

WWE Planning More RAW vs. Smackdown Matches Going Forward?

Right now, there are plans to do more matches between the top RAW and Smackdown wrestlers at the “Big Four” PPV’s (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series) going forward.

WWE Injury Update

Bray Wyatt sprained his ankle in his match against Dolph Ziggler during Smackdown Live but expects to wrestle on this weekend’s house shows. Paige is also out of action with back and neck injuries and has a medical evaluation scheduled on August 15th. Jimmy Uso  is also out of action with an undisclosed injury. It was thought that he would be able to work this past Tuesday on Smackdown Live but that was not the case.

WWE Hall of Famer Hospitalized

Superstar Billy Graham was hospitalized has been admitted to the hospital for internal bleeding. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Ring Announcer Leaves the WWE

Lillian Garcia has left the company, stating she is unable to travel weekly due to her father’s health as she is now looking for work closer to home.

Booker T Update

Booker was hospitalized over the weekend, which was the reason he was not on last night’s RAW preview. The reason he was hospitalized was that he needed surgery on his elbow.

WWE Signs Former NFL Player

The WWE signed former NFL offensive lineman Brennan Williams to a Developmental Deal. The 6’6 and 300lbs Williams was a 3rd round choice of the Houston Texans in the 2013 draft and trained at Booker T’s wrestling school in Houston.
