Match stipulation not used anymore…

By Scott Keith on 25 June 2018

There have only been a few matches that I can remember having "judges" score a match (Flair vs. Steamboat for example). While, in that instance, the judging didn’t play into the outcome of the match (though it setup an awesome follow up angle), it added a cool talking point for the viewer during the match. Has WWE ever done a match like that? Do you see that type of a gimmick match working in today’s environment or is it a completely fluff stipulation?

Maybe the next Omega v. Okada match will feature Dave Meltzer at ringside giving it star ratings LIVE.
