inside cradle

Good morning, Scott –

There are a lot of terms in wrestling that are common, but make no sense (squared circle, pier 6 brawl, etc.). Another one we hear a lot is “inside cradle” – so does that mean there’s such a thing as an “outside cradle”?

Am I thinking too much on this?

Yes. Inside cradle means you hook the inside leg. Outside cradle means you hook the outside one, like an Oklahoma roll. Flair pinned Steamboat with an outside cradle at WrestleWar 89, for example.
