I might be the only person but I love Bash 92. Did the Observer mention the result published in the magazine? At the time watching it looked obvious to be Rude/Austin vs Steamboat/Koloff in the finals since those were both Rude’s top feuds at the time.
Really? I thought at the time it was patently obvious that it was going to be the Steiners winning the belts and then doing a unification match with the MVC later on. And then Watts changed it to Gordy & Williams winning both belts for reasons I still don’t exactly fathom to this day. That really destroyed the Steiners’ momentum, which is weird because Rick came up with Bill Watts in charge and you’d think Bill would LOVE them. It’s amazing how fast they destroyed one of the company’s biggest drawing cards, in fact.
