Billy Jack Haynes, crazy person

Hey Scott,

Hope all is well. I’ve been reading the Observer flashbacks and can’t help noticing that Billy Jack Haynes seemed to have way too high an opinion of himself. Relative to his abilities/drawing power/legacy/etc, is there anyone in wrestling history quite as delusional as this largely forgotten glorified midcarder? If anyone comes to mind, care to share a story or two about absurdly over-confident workers of the past?

​Yeah but Billy Jack is on another level of crazy. Not only is he still challenging Steve Austin to fights to this day, but he’s been fired and arrested numerous times for stuff as bad as drug trafficking numerous times. ​Not to mention when he went on record as saying Kevin Sullivan killed Benoit and Nancy and framed them for it.

I’d also nominate Damian Demento/Mondo Kleen for his internet tirades, although that might be a work, and of course everyone’s favorite purveyor of fuck money and Olive Garden, Virgil.
